So here it is–my first real comic. It took me far longer than it should have, and it made me realize that I have a lot to learn about Photoshop. I’ve actually improved quite a bit since I first began experimenting with digital inking and coloring, and I know I will improve much more in the years to come. Stick around and watch me stumble as I create what technically passes for art!
Bad Company 2 is *so* addictive. I’ve been playing it way more than I should be, but it’s paying off since I’m starting to have more good days than bad. Still, I have a long way to go before I reach any kind of respectable K/D ratio. I know it’s a team game, and it’s more about the captures and matches won than it is about how many kills you get, but I can’t help but use that as a measure of my skill improvement.
Soon-to-be-released games I’m looking forward to: Super Street Fighter 4, Iron-Man 2 (I got the full 1000 points in the first one–I know it got terrible reviews but I LOVE Iron-Man!), UFC 2010, and… I’m drawing a blank. I know there’s more than that. Hmm. Anyway, I’ll try to get the next comic up somewhat soon. To be honest, it’s going to be a while before I reach my goal of 2 – 3 comics per week, because it just takes too long to make one right now. I’m getting faster and better with the tools every time I make a comic, so I’ll get there eventually.
